Mary Immaculate Health/Care Services Announces Alysia Pope as Director of Nursing for Its Nursing/Restorative Center


Alysia PopeLawrence, MA – August 14, 2018 – Mary Immaculate (MI) Health/Care Services, a member of Covenant Health, is pleased to announce Alysia Pope as the Director of Nursing for its Nursing/Restorative Center, a 231-bed skilled nursing facility with short-term rehabilitation and specialty memory care.

Pope has extensive clinical and leadership experience, which she’ll leverage to drive the continued success of the nursing team by ensuring the highest degree of resident and patient care is consistently maintained. She will also have direct responsibility for the efficient operation of medical records, pharmacy services and physician relations. “I’m happy to welcome Alysia to our team. Her role at MI is incredibly important as the quality of our care and safety of our patients are our top priorities,” said Del Downing, Administrator, MI Nursing/Restorative Center. “Alysia will lead the effort to ensure we are not only meeting but exceeding the expectations of our residents and patients.”

Prior to joining MI, Pope held Director of Nursing positions at Wingate of Andover and Life Care Center of Stoneham. She also held the roles of both Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing/Staff Development Coordinator at Park Avenue Health Center in Arlington. She resides in Woburn, attended Somerville Hospital School of Nursing and is a Registered Nurse.
