Dezireé Worster will focus on women’s health and is accepting new patients 

Dezireé WorsterBANGOR, Maine – October 25, 2019 – St. Joseph Healthcare, a member of Covenant Health, is pleased to announce the addition of Dezireé Worster, an experienced nurse practitioner specializing in primary care and focusing on women’s health.

“Dezireé is a great addition to our team,” said William Wood, M.D., Vice President of Medical Affairs. “She is smart, focused and deeply committed to her patients. She’s also gifted at working with people of all ages to help them get and stay well.” 

Worster earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Southern Maine in Portland, Maine and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Maine in Orono. She previously practiced at Northern Light Health, working with college students, families and employees through the University of Maine’s Cutler Health Center. Worster serves as secretary for the Maine College Health Association. She is also a member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Maine Nurse Practitioner Association and Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health.

I look forward to partnering with my colleagues and patients to improve women's health services, which is a passion of mine,” said Worster. “My focus will be on providing confidential care for the most intimate health concerns to improve a woman’s overall wellness and quality of life."
