Michael Bell Joins Penacook Place as Its New President

12.02.2020

Penacook Place, a member of Covenant Health, is pleased to announce Michael Bell has been appointed President of Penacook Place. In this leadership position, Bell will focus his efforts on daily operations, strategic planning and business development of this 160-bed skilled nursing facility, which offers short-term rehabilitation as well as long-term nursing and specialty memory care.

“We’re happy to welcome Michael to our team. He is a well-known and established member of the skilled nursing healthcare community. He has a hands-on approach to daily operations and is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care,” said David Becker, System Vice President of Post-Acute Care, Covenant Health. “I’m confident he’ll begin making contributions immediately, in a variety of areas, and will be appreciated by our staff, residents and their families.”

“I have a great deal of experience directing and guiding the growth of communities like Penacook Place. I’m excited to hit the ground running, meet the staff and short-term patients, as well as residents and their families,” shared Bell. “I look forward to working with the entire team to ensure we meet the highest standards of care and compassion for all those we serve.”

Bell is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Certified Dementia Practitioner. Prior to joining Penacook Place, Bell served as an Administrator at The Oxford, Quabbin Valley, Woodbriar and River Terrace communities, all in Massachusetts. He holds a Master of Divinity from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Otterbein College.
